This accessibility statement applies to the Rapala online store (https://www.rapala.eu/eu_en/rapala). The service is governed by the Act on the Provision of Digital Services, which requires public online services to be accessible. The statement was prepared on 25.11.2025. The accessibility of the service has been evaluated by an external party.

Temporarily visible notifications

• “Added to cart” temporary notifications are unavailable with assistive technologies. (WCAG 4.1.3)
• Not enough time for users to access the elements within the temporary notifications. (WCAG 2.2.1, 2.4.3)

Page navigation menus

• Sub menus cannot be activated with assistive technologies. (WCAG 1.3.1, 4.1.2)
• The sub menu content cannot be closed in keyboard navigation. (WCAG 1.4.13)

Technical implementation of components

• Users cannot activate the filters with screen reader on the product category pages. (WCAG 4.1.2)
• State of the region accordion is not available through assistive technologies. (WCAG 4.1.2)
• The login modal is technically insufficiently implemented. (WCAG 2.4.3)
• The carousel pagination buttons have insufficient names in assistive technology use. (WCAG 1.3.1)
• The cart button, when containing products, has an insufficient accessible name. (WCAG 1.3.1)
• Drop down menu used to select your country in the order form is implemented insufficiently for screen reader users. (WCAG 4.1.2)
• Certain interactive elements are named in English, despite the language content being in a different language. (WCAG 4.1.2)

• Page sections are not technically determinable. (WCAG 1.3.1)
• Checkboxes used to filter products are not grouped. (WCAG 1.3.1)
• There are focus order inconsistencies when moving from the cart to the payment view. (WCAG 2.4.3)
• Neither the automatically updating content of the front page carousel nor the animations of knots can be stopped by the users. (WCAG 2.2.2)
• Carousel pagination buttons have insufficient contrast. (WCAG 1.4.11)
• The knot images are missing text alternatives. (WCAG 1.1.1)
• The order form Send button is missing the technical disabled attribute. (WCAG 1.3.1, 4.1.2)
• Links open in a new tab without warning. (WCAG 2.4.4)
